Anthony has over 25 years experience at Dan Lepore & Sons. His principal areas of expertise include the oversight and management of the restoration of historic structures and monuments. For the past 20 years Anthony has been developing and expanding the firm’s capabilities and expertise in the restoration of stone, brick, terra cotta, and concrete. He has specialized knowledge and expertise in the conservation, handling, and treatment of masonry in accordance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Historic Preservation and has pioneered the large-scale application of water mist cleaning on historic marble and limestone. The Restoration Division is a leader in the use of micro-abrasive cleaning systems such as the Rotec Vortex cleaning system on historic stone buildings and sculpture.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for all aspects of project management and oversight for the firm’s Restoration Division.

Education/Training:

Attended the University of Massachusetts and Temple University with coursework in construction estimating, specification writing, and interpretation. Tony has attended the Coating and Consolidants Workshop, APT/National Park Service/Historic Preservation Education Foundation, RESTORE Intensive Workshop, Jahn Restoration Training Workshop, and Keim Mineral Coating Restoration Certification Training.
