TERRA COTTA RESTORATION.

Dan Lepore and Sons Co. is expert at the restoration of one of the most beautiful building materials available, masonry terra cotta. One of the largest terra cotta projects we have done was Philadelphia Convention Center, built as the Reading Terminal in 1893. We restored the terra cotta façade and trim, including cornices, balustrade and window surrounds. The building exterior was pointed, cleaned and massive granite panels on the first floor were resurfaced. This fast track project needed to be completed while the building was fully occupied.
